The Nature Conservancy
Formerly director of the Conservancy's work in the Chequamegon Bay Watershed, Mr. Dallman has been instrumental in the conservation of northern Wisconsin's most important lands and waters including more than 90,000 acres of ecologically significant working forests. He works with public, tribal and private partners to raise conservation funds, abate critical threats and develop strategies to prevent forest fragmentation, promote compatible development, and advance habitat conservation throughout the region.
Paul DeLong

Mr. DeLong has been the state lands specialist for forestry, chief of the Forestry Support Section and deputy chief state forester. Before joining the DNR he worked as a mediator for the RESOLVE Center for Environmental Dispute Resolution and subsequently as a senior program officer for World Wildlife Fund. He holds a BS in forestry and a master's in natural resource policy from the University of Michigan.
Jerry Greenberg

Mr. Greenberg leads American Forest Foundation's efforts to help family forest owners across the country manage their lands sustainably while protecting water, wildlife habitat, and other ecological values. Prior to joining the AFF, Jerry worked for 16 years for The Wilderness Society, where he directed wilderness and other land protection campaigns in the organization's 14 field offices. Before joining The Wilderness Society, Jerry was a public radio reporter in Los Angeles and a forester for the US Forest Service in New Mexico and for IT&T Rayonnier in Georgia. He has a Master of Forestry degree from Duke University. Jerry lives in Madison, Wisconsin with his wife, Diana, and son, Alex.

A retired U.S. Navy Reserve Captain, Mr. Maki served four years active duty with the U.S. Navy, worked for the U.S. Forest Service and Proctor and Gamble Paper Products Company before co-founding Midwest Forest Products in 1977. Today the company produces and delivers 10,000 loads of processed pulpwood, chips, and bark, and debarks 200,000 tons of wood annually. Mr. Maki is a board member of the Forest Resources Association and Trees for Tomorrow and is a recipient of the Forest Resources Association Lake States Forestry Activist Award.
Jane Severt

A former county forester and county forest administrator, and currently an owner of timberland, Ms. Severt heads WCFA, which represents the 29 counties in Wisconsin with county forests. Collectively these public forests amount to nearly 2.4 million acres, the state's largest public land base. She serves with over a dozen forestry associations including Wisconsin Council on Forestry and Great Lakes Timber Professionals Association.
